Rates
- See our on-line availability calendar for current rates by room and date.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept gift certificates issued by Bedandbreakfast.com, and BnBFinder.com.
- All rates are quoted as double occupancy. Maximum occupancy for the Furness, Franklin, Philadelphian, and Fairmount is two guests. The University Suite and Continental Suite sleeps four. There is a $30 charge per person for guests in suites.

- You may make reservations on-line or by phone. We do not make reservations using e-mail. One half of your reservation amount or one night (which ever is greater) is charged to your credit card at the time of your reservation.
- Check-In is from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Early Check-In is available by request at the time of reservation. Your room/suite will be guaranteed by 1:30 PM. A $20 Charge plus Tax will apply to your credit card at the time of reservation.
- If you need to arrive after 10:00 PM, please contact us to make arrangements.
- Check-Out time is 11:00 AM. However, you may store your luggage on the day of check-out without charge until 5:00 PM. After 5:00 PM, there is a $25 storage charge.
- If you must CANCEL or SHORTEN your stay, please let us know at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. A $35 rebooking fee applies to all cancellations. If you fail to cancel, or cancel within 7 days of your reservation, you will be charged for the entire reservation including Tax.
Services
- During the week, a continental breakfast is served from 7:15 to 8:30 AM, and on weekends, a full breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:00 AM. At Check-In you may request a breakfast-in-a-bag to go. If you wish to have a non-guest join you for breakfast, there is an additional charge of $15.00 plus tax.
- We offer complimentary secure wireless high speed internet access (WIFI) for your laptop computer.
- There are guest refrigerators for your use located throughout Cornerstone.
- Would you like something added to your room to celebrate a special occasion? We can arrange to have fresh flowers, gourmet chocolates, cake with a message of your choice and more. Please contact us for details and pricing. We would need 72 hours notice.
Inn Policies
- Children are a special kind of guest. Please call ahead to make sure we can accommodate their needs.
- We are a NON-SMOKING inn. However, smoking is permitted outside on the wrap around porch and in the garden.
- Please read and abide by all Parking signs. Parking is available all around the Cornerstone however there is a two hour limit between 9am and 5pm daily on Baring Street and several surrounding streets. There is unlimited parking along 34th, 33rd, 32nd, and 31st. Limitations on parking are not enforced on the weekends.
- Philadelphia has an excellent public transportation system and Cornerstone is ideally located for you to use all forms of public transportation including Amtrak, buses, trolleys and subways.
